DM pays surprise visit to Distt Hospital Shopian

Shopian |: The District Magistrate (DM) Shopian, Sachin Kumar Vaishya Friday paid a surprise visit to District Hospital Shopian to oversee the medicare facilities being provided to the patients admitted in the hospital, besides other heating arrangements.
Vaishya also inspected various sections of the hospital including Emergency, Operation Theater, ECG Unit, Dental Section, X-Ray, Gynae, Post-Operation Wards, OPD, IPD, Store and other sections.
The DM directed the Hospital Staff to ensure availability of essential medicines and other diagnostic equipment. He also directed for adhering to the office timing to avoid inconvenience to the patients.
Vaishya on the occasion interacted with the patients and enquired about the facilities being provided by the Hospital Administration to them.
He also directed for providing better heating system to the patients keeping in view the ensuing harsh winter besides other facilities being made available to patients and directed for further improving the health care facilities in the hospital
DM was accompanied by Tehsildar Shopian and other concerned health functionaries during the visit.
