Ramban : Government Degree College Ukhral Wednesday organised a lecture on Career in Civil Services.
The program was inaugurated by Principal of College Prof. (Dr.) Ranvijay Singh. The programme was held to motivate and guide the students to choose their career in civil services like IAS, IPS, IRS and KAS.
Prof. Zakir Hussain, convener career counselling cell, urged the students to work hard to join the civil services, which offers a highly bright career.
Dr. Altaf Rasool (HOD Education) presented the welcome address and highlighted the role of civil services in the development of vibrant society.
Faculty members Dr. Akhtar Rasool (HOD Environmental Science) and Prof. Rafia Bano(HOD Sociology) also talked on the subject. The programme was moderated by Dr. Shafiq Ahmed Katoch (HOD Urdu & Co-ordinator IQAC).
