Srinagar : The Crime Branch Kashmir (CBK) on Tuesday arrested a man for his alleged involvement in preparing fake marks certificates in order to get admission in different colleges of the Valley.
According to a statement issued on Tuesday the CBK said that it has arrested one person identified as Aejaz Ahmad Malik, son of Abdul Gani Malik of Vilgam Handwara, district Kupwara, who was involved in a case under FIR number 34/2007 under section 420, 468, 471, 120-B RPC for preparing fake marks certificates of higher secondary Part-II in order to get admission in different colleges of valley.
“The investigation of case was closed as PROVED against Aejaz Ahmad Malik and five other accused persons and the charge-sheet was filed before the court on December 28, 2010, however, the accused Aejaz Ahmad Malik was absconding and evading arrest since the year 2018. The warrant under section 512 was issued by Court of City judge Srinagar, and accordingly the warrant was executed by Crime Branch Kashmir and the said accused stands arrested in the instant case.”
