Covid-19 In JK: 2 deaths reported in last 24 hours, toll rises to 4483

Srinagar, Jammu: Jammu & Kashmir on Monday reported 108 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 22 from Jammu division and 86 from Kashmir divisionthus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 337915, said Jammu & Kashmir Government on Monday in it’s daily covid bulletin, adding therein that also, 02 COVID deaths have been reported; 01 from Jammu Division and 01 from Kashmir Division and the overall covid death toll mounted to 4483 in Jammu & Kashmir.
Government in it’s daily covid bulletin also said that moreover, 151 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 30from Jammu Division and 121 from Kashmir Division.The Bulletin also informed that no new case of Mucormycosis has been reported Monday.
On COVID vaccination, the bulletin informs that 62,071doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across J&K to1,69,68,732.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 337915 positive cases, 1661 are Active Positive (430 in Jammu Division and 1231in Kashmir Division), 331771 have recovered and 4483 have died; 2186 in Jammu division and 2297in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 17946041 test results available, 337915 samples have tested positive and 17608126 samples have been tested as negative till date. Besides, 45,638 COVID tests have been conducted in last 24 hours.
Till date 4634252 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 6380persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 1661 in isolation and 428429843789 in home surveillance. Besides, 4191885 persons have completed their surveillance period.
Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases reported Monday, the Bulletin said that Srinagar reported 40 cases, Baramulla reported 11 cases, Budgam reported 04 cases, Pulwama reported 09cases, Kupwara reported 06cases, Anantnag reported 02cases,Bandipora reported 06 cases, Ganderbal reported 07cases, Kulgam reported 01 case while as Shopian reported no fresh cases for Monday.
Similarly, Jammu reported 11cases, Udhampur reported no case, Rajouri reported 02cases,Doda reported 07cases, Kathua reported 01case, Poonch reported 01caseswhile as Samba, Kishtwar, Reasi and Ramban reported no fresh cases for Monday.
The bulletin further informs the general public that they can contact helpline numbers 0191-2520982/2674444/2674115/2674908/2549676 in Jammu Division and 0194-2440283/2430581/2452052/2457313/2457312 in Kashmir Division for any kind of guidance and assistance.
In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24×7 by calling toll free number 108 while as pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialling toll free number 102, the bulletin reads.
It also informs that the public can reach national helpline by dialling 1075.
