J&K Bank commissions 2 ATMs in Pulwama

Srinagar : Deepening the network of its touch-points to extend basic banking services to people irrespective of location and status, J&K Bank dedicated two Automated Teller Machines (ATM) in Pulwama to the public.
The Bank commissioned an ATM near Business Unit Aripal at Tral and another such machine near Washbug Business Unit in Pulwama district taking the Bank’s total number of ATMs to 1393.
Following the COVID-19 protocols, District Development Commissioner (DDC) Pulwama, Baseer-ul-Haq Chaudhary inaugurated the on-Site ATM facility at Aripal Tral in presence of Zonal Head Kashmir South-I (Pulwama) Tasaduq Ahmad Dar, ADC Tral S A Raina, SSP Awanti Pora Mohammad Yusuf, while as the ATM at Washbug was also inaugurated jointly by the DDC Pulwama Baseer-ul-Haq Chaudhary and SSP Pulwama Ghulam Jeelani in presence of Zonal Head Tasaduq Ahmad Dar.
A good number of valuable customers, senior citizens, local businessmen and other officials from district administration and the bank were also present at both the inaugurations.
Speaking on both occasions, the DDC hailed the commissioning of ATMs as a people-friendly initiative and appreciated the bank for providing this facility to people of these areas. He congratulated the inhabitants of both the areas for getting their demand fulfilled.
Zonal Head reiterated the bank’s commitment to provide hassle free and state-of-the-art banking services and facilities to its growing number of customers across J&K. He urged the participants to make best use of these facilities.
He further said that installing an ATM in a far flung area, some 15 km away from Tral town, shows the commitment of management of Jammu & Kashmir Bank to serve its people and assured the gathering that the bank will take every step to provide best banking facilities to its customers.
He also urged the gatherings to avail banking facilities being provided by the Bank and assured them of taking every possible step for economic upliftment of people through effective financial intervention.
Those present at both the functions lauded the bank for providing the latest banking facilities to the people.
