Dist Admin Kupwara organises workshop on Mission Youth schemes

Kupwara : The District Administration Kupwara today organized a workshop on implementation of schemes under Mission Youth, at D. C Office, here.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Imam Din was chief guest on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, the DC said that under the ambitious Mission Youth programme, the government aims at engaging the youth positively by making them stakeholders in the development of J&K.
The DC directed the officers to ensure awareness of the Mission Youth schemes at grassroots level to enable the unemployed youth to take benefit of the employment generation schemes.
He directed NIC Kupwara to ensure availability of the schemes on the District website so that youth of Kupwara district could get easy access to the information of the schemes.
Experts while interacting with the participants gave a detailed powerpoint presentation discussing the aims and objectives of the Mission Youth besides highlighting the proposed initiatives to be taken in different sectors including employment, career counseling, youth engagement, entrepreneurship development, sports and recreation.
Additional District Development Commissioner, Altaf Ahmad Khan, AC Panchayats, Shabir Ahmad; OSD Mission Youth, Dr Murtaza, besides, District Officers and other concerned attended the workshop.
