DC visits fire incident site at Batote, interacts with victims

Ramban : Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Mussarat Islam Saturday visited fire incident site at Batote whereat 2 houses were damaged Saturday morning.
BDC Chairperson Rajeshwar, Chairman MC Batote, Ravinder Singh, Tehsildar Batote Mehboob Khan, SHO and other concerned officers were present on the occasion.
After receiving information about the fire incident, the Administration swung into action and mobilized the rescue teams of Fire & Emergency Service and Police to control the fire. Local youth also played a pivotal role in dousing the fire.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Commissioner rushed to the spot and inspected the fire incident site and directed Tehsildar Batote to immediately submit a loss assessment report so that their relief case can be processed as per norms.
The DC also interacted with the fire incident affected families and took a firsthand assessment of the damage caused by the blaze and assured them every possible help from district administration.
Meanwhile several public representatives also interacted with the Deputy Commissioner and highlighted their problems and demands.
They also appealed to the District Administration to provide help liberally to the victim families who are down-trodden.The DC assured that their genuine demands will be addressed on priority basis.
