Shopian : The District Administration Shopian Friday disbursed an amount of Rs. 5.5 lakh relief among the kin of 11 Covid victims ( Rs.50,000 each), who died due to Covid-19 Pandemic, at Mini Secretariat Arhama, here.
The amount was disbursed as an ex-gratia relief of Rs 50,000 to the next of kin of the casualties of COVID pandemic.
It was informed that the relief will be disbursed in favour of the families of COVID-19 victims, through a transparent verification process via Aadhar linked Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
The Disaster Management Department was asked to obtain utilization certificates for the same and conduct an audit of the concerned accounts.
