DC Kupwara inspects 6.3 MVA RS Pohrupeth

Kupwara : The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Imam Din Friday visited Pohrupeth area of Handwara sub division and inspected newly constructed 6.3 MVA Receiving Station (RS).
On the occasion, the DC congratulated the PDD Engineers for completion of the Receiving Station which was a long pending demand of the people of the area. He said that the Receiving Station will provide a huge relief to the people of Handwara sub division particularly the neighbouring villages of Pohrupeth and will further fine tune the power supply.
He directed the engineers for pruning of branches of the trees around the Receiving station to prevent any untoward incident.
The DC also took stock of HT lines network in the Pohrupeth village to be connected with the Receiving Station and directed the officers for its timely completion.
DDC Member Rajwar, Suliman Mir; DDC Mawar, Khurshid Ahmad; BDC Langate; Showkat Pandit; Executive Engineer PDD Handwara sub division, AEE STD Kupwara and other concerned officers accompanied the Deputy Commissioner.
