Ensure time-bound, quality disposal of grievances, pending cases: DC Kupwara

Kupwara: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Imam Din today convened a meeting of Revenue officers to discuss various revenue related matters and disposal of grievances and pending cases.
Addressing the meeting, the DC directed officers to ensure time bound quality disposal of grievances and other cases and bring efficiency in the service delivery system.
He directed them to send a copy of disposal to the applicant/complainant to his address with information to higher authorities. He also stressed upon officers to expedite all pending cases of any nature.
The DC sought feedback from Revenue officers about disposal of pending cases of encroachment and reviewed the action taken report by the officers.
The meeting discussed threadbare various agenda points including Anti Encroachment Drive, Migrant Grievances Online/IGRAMS, Court cases of different nature, E-Office, Online Disposal Of Various Certificates, Missing Land Revenue Records, NDMA/SDRF, pending land acquisition cases, pending mutations of PMGSY, Beacon and others, pending relief cases covered under SDRF/climatic.
Besides, the meeting also discussed implementation of SVAMITVA Scheme, Shajra Khasra of three byepass(National Highway) and Red Account of Army rent.
The meeting was informed that out of 52698 Kanals of encroached land, 7205 kanals have been retrieved upto ending October this year.
Likewise, out of the total 53342 kanals of Kahcharai land encroached, 15812 kanals have been retrieved from illegal occupants during the same period.
Regarding, Aap Ki Zameen Aap ki Nigrani, it was informed that awareness camps were organized in Karnah, Lolab, Handwara, Kupwara, Awoora and Zurhama.
Earlier, the Revenue officers briefed the DC about progress of different revenue related matters.
Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Jowhar Ali; SDM Lolab, Aijaz Ahmad Bhat, all Tehsildars and Naib Tehsildars attended the meeting.
