Srinagar : Mayor Srinagar, Junaid Azim Mattu on Wednesday conducted an extensive tour of Zakura and its adjoining areas. He was accompanied by concerned Corporater Waheed Dar and several other officers to take stock of basic amenities including sanitation and other developmental works in the said areas. Mattu on the occassion met several delegations and inhabitants of Zakura and the adjacent areas .
On putting forth the grievances by several delegations with regard to drainage, electricity and Sanitation, Mattu while hearing patiently and responding to the grevaiances One by one assured them that their grievances shall be redressed within shortest possible time. He also directed the concerned that an extensive sanitation drives should be taken up in the different parts of these areas in a gradual manner so that entire area remains clean and well sanitized. He further said that same practice should be followed in other wards too.
