DC Kupwara inspects 10 MVA RS Hyhama, RS Galizoo

Kupwara : Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Imam Din Wednesday visited various areas of block Kupwara and inspected several ongoing developmental projects. Superintending Engineer PDD and Executive Engineers of different power wings accompanied the Deputy Commissioner.
During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner inspected 10MVA Receiving Station Hyhama coming up at an approved cost of Rs.2.88 crore.
On the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner set December 6, 2021 as the deadline for completion of the project. He warned the contractors and concerned engineers about strict action if the receiving station is not completed as on 6th of this month.
The Deputy Commissioner also inspected Galizoo Receiving Station and stressed upon the concerned engineers for completion of the project within the stipulated time frame.
Later, the Deputy Commissioner visited Karihama and inspected the premises for Government Polytechnic College Kupwara. He directed the concerned to ensure completion of residual works in the building so that the college shall be made functional there.
