DC Kulgam inaugurates 3- days Rozgar Mela.

Kulgam : In District Kulgam the District Administration has started 3-days registration cum awareness Rozgar mela for unemployed youth under various self employment schemes of Government.
This programme was Wednesday kick started by The Deputy Commissioner Kulgam Dr.Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din-Bhat here at Community hall D.H.Pora which is maiden and first job mela organised here in this rural area D.H.Pora Noorabad.
Present on the occasion were ADC, SDM-Noorabad, ACD ,ACP, ALC,Tehsildar,BDO and other officers.
During the Programme registration counters established by the Sheep, Animal Husbandry, Horticulture,Fisheries, Industries, SC/ST, JKEDI, Employment and other departments were seen abuzz and scores of onspot registrations were recorded here at D.H.Pora
Speaking on the occasion the Deputy Commissioner said that the purpose of organizing such Job melas is to register and sanction cases to the beneficiaries without any delay under various self employment generation schemes.
He urged the PRIs to sensitize the youth of there area to come forward and get benefitted trough these schemes.
The DC added that minimum 05 youth per Panchayat halqa have to be covered under self employment schemes in Mission Mode and cases can be sanctioned more than 05 in any panchayat and there are no limitations in sanctioning the cases to benefit the unemployed youth.
It was also informed that Mission youth J&K have launched 08 Schemes to cover the different types of youth under different self employment schemes. Viz. 1. Mumkin ( Transport Sector) 2. Tejeswini (Women Empowerment) 3. SAHAYETA (Youth in Distress) 4. Rise Together- (Community Entrepreneurship) 5. Youth Innovation Scheme 6. Tourist Village Network 7. Spurring Entrepreneurship 8. Dental Sector.
It was also informed that Youth can also register through online mode by using https://forms.gle/yqLkuRqibWY79q6y5 link and this Rozgar Mela will continue for more 2 days in the district.
