Implementation of welfare schemes, LG directions reviewed in Poonch

DC calls for putting in extra efforts to percolate benefits to last beneficiary of the distt

Poonch : To review the progress and implementation of various Government-sponsored beneficiary schemes and extension of benefits to the targeted lot, the District Development Commissioner (DDC), Poonch, Inder Jeet Tuesday chaired a meeting of Officers of all line Departments here in the Meeting Hall of the DC Office Complex.
The meeting reviewed in detail the implementation of LG directions and Government-sponsored schemes including Apki zameen Apki Nigrani- platform Yougyta se Rojgar Mahotsav, Janta ki scheme, one person one golden card, har ghar nal se jal, berojgar se sewa rojgarhar kaam ki shuruat, har gaon swachh gaon, har gaon hariyali, har gaon dastak.
In view of the fresh thereat of covid-19 pandemic, the Deputy Commissioner directed the Chief Medical Officer to submit daily report about containment measures. He also directed to continuation Nasha Mukt and Swachh Gaon the campaigns.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the General Manager, DIC to consolidate the pendency of sponsored cases with the different Bank branches and submit the report of the same to this office in every week
The Deputy Commissioner asked the EO Municipality to keep the city neat and clean by ensuring daily cleanliness operations and scientific disposal of waste.
Further, the Deputy Commissioner asked the ACD to submit the proposal for establishment of 315 PDs before December 15 after conducting the Gram Sabha in all 229 Panchayats.
The DDC said this is a collective responsibility of all of us to make sure that no eligible beneficiary is left behind. He stressed on the Officers to take comprehensive measures to reach out to all eligible beneficiaries. He asked the concerned district officers to submit daily progress report.
The DDC directed the CMO to organise awareness cum distribution camps in all Panchayats for registration of beneficiaries and issuing Golden Card under one person one Golden Card scheme.
The Deputy Commissioner asked the concerned that to dig waste collection pits under MGNREGA where there was no public objection for disposal of biodegradable waste.
Under Har Gaon Hariyali scheme, the Deputy Commissioner set a target of 50,000 plantation for RDD and One lakh for Forest department.
The Jal Shakti department was asked to achieve the target of functional household tap water connections under Har Ghar Nal se Jal.
The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner Poonch, Abdul Sattar; ADC, Dr.Basharat Hussain; ACD, Rajesh Lakhan, ACR, Zaheer Ahmed Kaifi, Gen. Manager, DIC, Dr.Zakir Hussain, ALC/AD, labour & Employment,Abid Hussain Shah, District Treasury Officer, Ab.Rashid Doustam, CMO.Dr.G.A Malik, EO Municipity, Mushtaq Hussain, ACP, Shafiq Mir, PO, Jaffar Abas, Xen PDD, Irshad Hussain, Xen Jal shakti, Rajesh Sethi, Xen, R&B, Mohd.Parviaz, Xen REW, Hans Raj, Vikas Sharma from bank besides other concerned officers.
