Kishtwar : District Administration Kishtwar Saturday finalized revised stamp Duty Rates for 4 Tehsils here at a meeting chaired by Assistant Commissioner Revenue Akhter Hussain Qazi.
The meeting was attended by Tehsildars Bunjwah Irshad Ahmed Bhat, Tehsildar Kishtwar Pramod Kumar, Tehsildar Nagseni Majid Jahangir, besides other concerned officials.
A threadbare discussion was held on the rates received from the 4 Tehsils viz Kishtwar, Nagseni, Drabshalla, and Bounjwah for their finalization.
It was given out in the meeting that the data collection about prevailing market rates of land and property has been analysed and the committee finalized the area wise stamp duty rates so that acquisition of land for various developmental projects in the district is accelerated for the welfare of the people.
