DDC Chairperson Udhampur inspects progress of command area dev works

Udhampur  District Development Council Chairperson, Udhampur Lal Chand along with Director Command Area Development, Jammu Rajinder Singh Tara Saturday conducted an exhaustive tour of Neeli Nallah and Kambal Danga Panchayats and inspected the execution of ongoing developmental projects .
After the field visit, the DDC Chairperson chaired a meeting with Director CAD and discussed various issues related to upcoming projects of the Command Area Development Department in District Udhampur.
The DDC Chairperson asked the concerned officers to stay in contact with the PRIs and pay regular visits to the District to build confidence among landowners and ensure the quality of developmental works. He instructed the concerned officers to complete all the projects within prescribed time and dedicate the same to people for early utilization. He further instructed the concerned officers to monitor the pace of work on a routine basis and take care of existing public utilities so that the public does not suffer at the cost of development.
