Certificates and souvenirs awarded to teachers and students…

Srinagar : The annual event was conducted by Govt. Model Higher Secondary School, Mujgund. On the ocassion, Director School Education Kashmir (DSEK) was the chief guest while Chief Education Officer (CEO), Srinagar participated in the event as guest of honour. Besides these revered dignitaries, Principal, Higher Secondary School, Shadipora Dr. G M Pujoo and Zonal Education Officer, Batamaloo were also part of the presidium. On the ocassion, the DSEK inaugrated the newly constructed building in the school and also launched the school website.
In the beginning of the event, Principal Manzoor Ahmad, while welcoming the guests enumerated the various works of prominence that were carried out in the institition theretofore. He requested the DSEK to approve a multipurpose and multistoried building for the school. The Chief Education Officer, while adjudging Higher Secondary School, Mujgund as an excellent institution, congratulated the teachers and school administration for their accomplishments. In his address, the DSEK appealed to the teachers of the institution to strive for enhancing the all-important standard of education by using the tools of their invincible dedication and unwavering determination. While stating Higher Secondary School, Mujgund as an exemplary institution, the DSEK asked for meeting the requirements of the school and said the school will be upgraded from a model school to a supermodel one.
In the event, various performances, cultural or otherwise, were displayed by the students of the school. Bilal Ahmad Malla, who won the National level Kala Utsav event-2020 enthralled the audience with his musical presentation.
On the ocassion, Divisional Co-ordinator of Cultural Wing, Nisar Ahmad, Councillor, Shehzad Ahmad Bhat, Assistant Executive Engineer R & B Shalteng, Members of Village Education Committee, Headmasters and teachers of Middle school, Mujgund, Members of civil society, Heads of various schools and a good number of teachers and students were also present.
On the ocassion, certificates and mementos were awarded to those students who had exhibited brilliant performances in various fields in the last two years. After that, certificates were awarded to teachers and other employees of the institution who had played a pivotal role in maintaining the sanctity and standard of education in the institution. On the ocassion, Principal Higher Secondary, Shadipora, Dr. G M Pujoo and contractor, Ali Mohd Khanday were also honoured with accolades. At the end of the event, Shakir Shafi presented the vote of thanks, while the event was conducted by Suhail Ashraf, and Rouf Ahmad provided the technical support during the event.
