Rajouri : Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University Rajouri celebrated Constitution day with patriotic fervor and joy. Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Akbar Masood Vice Chancellor of the University said that Indian constitution is one best constitutions of the world which guarantees equality to every citizen of the country irrespective of caste, creed and religion. He stressed upon the faculty, staff, students and scholars of the University to follow the preambles of constitution and always work for strengthening the national ethos. Prof. Akbar highlighted the significance of constitution day, celebrated to commemorate the adoption of Constitution. He stated that the vision and principles advocated by Dr. Ambedkar is being taken forward by PM Narendra Modi with schemes such as Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Prof. Akbar emphasised that every citizen must read the constitution thoroughly to learn about its different aspects, making our democracy stronger. On the occasion an pledge taking ceremony was also organised to celebrate the constitution day.
