Reasi Admin concludes Tribal week celebration with a grand event

Reasi : An impressive function was organised by District Administration Reasi, under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner, Charandeep Singh to mark the end of the Janjatiya Saptah celebration here at DC Office Complex .
As many as 15 poets of the district participated in the event and presented their poetic work on patriotism, satire and romanticism and Tribal way of life.
The Janjatiya Saptah week, which started on Nov 15, 2021 witnessed a series of activities like visit to tribal villages, heritage sites, Webinar on tribal freedom fighters, online competition on different topics like tribal paintings, tribal traditions etc.
While highlighting the importance of the day, the DC said that GOI has declared November 15th November as Janajatiya Gaurav Divas, to honour the contribution of the tribal community towards the nation. He congratulated the participants in general and organisers in particular for holding the grand event.
ADDC Jyoti Salathia; CPO Sunita Kanchan; PO ICDs Renu Kumari; District Tribal Affairs Officer, Dr. Gulshan Kumar; AD FCS&CA along with other district officers were present on the occasion.
