FOB Rajouri organises awareness prog on Covid Vaccination, CAB in Kalakote

Rajouri : Field Outreach Bureau (FOB), Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India, Rajouri, in coordination with Department of Information and Public Relations, Rajouri Centre and Sub-Division Administration, Kalakote organised a number of covid awareness programmes in Kalakote.
The awareness generation programmes were part of the 2-day long campaign initiated by the Field outreach Bureau, Rajouri in Kalakote Sub Division.
On this occasion, a focused group discussion cum awareness generation programme on promotion of Covid Vaccination and Covid Appropriate Behaviours was organised at CDPO Office complex, Kalakote.
Krishen Lal, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kalakote was the Chief Guest, while the programme was organised under the leadership of Khalil Ahmed Choudhary, Child Development Project Officer, Kalakote.
Interacting with the audience, the Chief Guest said that such programmes are very essential and play a vital role in dissemination of awareness and information among the masses. He was of the view that Rajouri administration has done a commendable job in containing the spread of the deadly virus.
Khalil Ahmed Choudhary, CDPO, Kalakote, in his address said that the whole world is running through tough times and now it is the responsibility of every human being to shoulder his responsibilities and contribute his share in containing the spread of virus by following Covid Appropriate behaviours and getting themselves vaccinated. He also urged the staff of ICDS department to carry forward the message to their respective area of operation.
Dr. Mohammd Syed, Medical Officer, Community Health Centre, Kalakote -the Resource Person delivered the keynote address on Covid Appropriate Behaviour and promotion of vaccination. He explained in detail safety protocols like Physical distancing, Wearing Mask, avoiding gatherings, following respiratory etiquettes and benefits of COVID guidelines issued by the Government from time to time.
Gurnam Singh, I/C Field Outreach Bureau, Rajouri, while welcoming the Guests and participants said that public participation in generating awareness and further disseminating it to others can play a pivotal role in curbing the spread of COVID-19. He extended his gratitude to DIC, Rajouri and Sub Divisional administration, Kalakote, BMO, Kalakote, CDPO, Kalakote for extending their support and cooperation during the Campaign period.
Dr. S. K. Sharma conducted the proceedings of the function.
A number of flex posters on CAB and Vaccinations were placed at prime locations of Kalakote, while publicity material was also distributed at different places. The FOB team also pasted stickers on public transport vehicles for awareness about CAB among the general masses.
