Srinagar/Nov, 24 : Terming repealing of three Farm Law’s a good decision in right direction , Chairman Jammu and Kashmir People’s Democratic Front (PDF ) and former Minister Hakeem Mohammad  Yaseen on Wednesday called upon the Central Government to revoke all the controversial laws promulgated post August 05, 2019 to bring peace and stability in Jammu and Kashmir .

“Controversial laws unilaterally enacted post August 5 ,2019 have usurped the all constitutional gaurantees of the people ” Hakeem Yaseen said while speaking to party workers of Budgam zone on Wednesday. He said alienation among people has increased manyfolds since the state of Jammu and Kashmir was downgraded into two Union Territories.
He said after repealing the Farm Laws , it was an opportune time for the Centre to bring flexibility in its policy towards Jammu and Kashmir and restore all Constitutional guarantees to Jammu and Kashmir to win hearts and minds of the people .
PDF Chairman urged the Centre to sincerely embark on the path of dialogue and reconciliation with all the genuine stakeholders of Kashmir imbroglio to address it’s both internal and external dimensions for the good of people . He said prevailing political instability has badly retarded economic and developmental pace in Jammu and Kashmir adding that holding of Assembly elections to install a popular government was need of the hour to provide much needed respite to the common people from the bureaucratic neglect .
Hakeem also urged the government to regularise services of all Daily wagers , contractual and need based workers in various government and public sector undertakings adding that the step would be one of the effective Confidence Building Measures CBMs to end alienation and mistrust against the mainstream . He has appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to give practical shape to his words about removing ” Dil Ki Doori – Delhi say – Doori ” by respecting socio-political aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir .
