3 vehicles seized for illegal extraction & transportation of minerals in Baramulla : Police

Baramulla : Police on Monday said that it has seized three vehicles for illegal extraction and transportation of minerals in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
In a statement issued on Monday police said that a Police party led by SHO PS Pattan under the supervision of SDPO Pattan Mohammad Nawaz Khanday seized three vehicles (02 Tractors and 01 JCB) for illegal extractions & transportation of minerals at Aglar Pattan area of District Baramulla.
Police in the concluding para of it’s above referred statement appealed people not to indulge in any kind of illegal mining activities from any Nallah as it is the violation of Government rules but warned that people found indulging in illegal mining activities shall be dealt as per law. Police also urged people to share information regarding the crimes in their neighbourhood with the local police units.
