3 arrested for illegal extraction & transportation of minerals in Budgam : Police

Srinagar : Police on Friday said that it has arrested three persons and also seized three vehicles involved in illegal extraction and transportation of minerals.
In a statement issued here on Friday police said that that officers from PS Khansahib have arrested three persons involved in illegal extraction and transportation of clay from government land at Kralpathri Budgam, stating therein further that it has also seized three vehicles including two tippers and a JCB from the spot. “The arrested persons have been identified as Mohammad Arif Deenda son of Ab Rashid, Ashiq Hussain son of Mushtaq Ahmed Deenda, both residents of Raiyar Ich & Jeevan Jote son of Jugal Kishore resident of Kathghar Gurdaspora”, reads the police statement, adding that “ the above named accused have been shifted to police station where they remain in custody”.
In the concluding para of its above referred statement it also said that that, police said a Case vide FIR No. 243/2021 under relevant sections of law stands registered at Police Station Khansahib and further investigation has been initiated.
