V.C Cluster University Srinagar inaugurates T20 Cricket Tournament at A.S College

Srinagar: The Vice Chancellor (V.C) Cluster University Srinagar, Prof. Qayoom Hussai Thursday inaugurated the Inter College T20 Men’s cricket tournament at Amar Singh College, here. The tournament is being organised by the Sports Council, Cluster University Srinagar
Vice Chancellor, who was also Chief Guest at the inaugural function, said that this will provide an opportunity for the sportspersons from constituent and affiliated colleges of the university to showcase their talent and compete with the best of the lot.
He said that it is high time that we garner the talent of our youth and build sportsmanship character in them.
Speaking on the occasion, Secretary Sports Council, Cluster University Srinagar, Prof Tariq Ashai, who was also guest of the honour said that the University is committed to provide National level sports infrastructure with a view to organise high end competition in the University to harness the potential of budding sportspersons.
The Function was attended by Principals of the Constituent and affiliated colleges, Deans of various faculties, Dean Students Welfare, Physical Directors of the College besides Faculty members.
All COVID-19 precautions and SOP’s where strictly followed for the safety of all.
