Srinagar/ Nov, 18: The Rasm-e-Chahrum of J&K’s renowned businessman and philanthropist Syed Mohammad Iqbal Bukhari, father of Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, was observed on Wednesday at his ancestral residence in Ladroora, Baramulla who earlier passed away on Sunday at SKIMS Soura after a brief spell of illness.
Numerous administrative & political party delegations, civil society members, religious leaders, party affiliates and general public visited the bereaved family members wherein they expressed their profound solidarity with them.
In a statement issued here, Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari on Thursday conveyed immense gratitude to all the individuals and official delegations that showed their firm support and concern to the family members at this time of sorrow.
“We are exceedingly thankful to all those who have been with our family in these hard times as their care and consoling words have helped a lot to overcome this huge loss. We are indebted to all who have travelled so far just to be by our side and infuse a sense of peace among us at this moment of grief,” Bukhari said.
