J&K Bank 2nd among top leading private sector banks with high CASA Ratio

Srinagar : In terms of current account and savings account (CASA) Ratio, J&K Bank is one of the top three leading private sector banks in the country. According to a report titled ‘Top 10 Private Sector Banks With High CASA Ratio As On 30th September, 2021’ published online by StockEdge – a web-based platform that claims to be 100% focused on research and analytics – J&K Bank with a CASA Ratio of 55.3% is only second to Kotak Mahindra Bank, which has 60.6% CASA and is followed by IDBI Bank with 54.6% CASA figure.

CASA ratio is an indicator of bank’s efficient process for obtaining funds at the lowest available price. Notably, the Bank’s CMD had recently asserted that the Bank has very strong deposit profile with one of the best industry-wide mix of CASA and Term Deposits that are mostly retail and thus stable.
