Covid-19 In JK: 2 covid death reported in last 24 hours, toll mounts to 4457

Srinagar, Jammu: Jammu & Kashmir on Wednesday reported 168 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 27 from Jammu division and 141 from Kashmir division, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 334600.Also, 02 COVID deaths have been reported from Jammu Division and as such the overall covid death toll mounted to 4457 in Jammu & Kashmir.
In it’s daily covid bulletin released on Wednesday the J&K Government on Wednesday also said that moreover, 197 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 09from Jammu Division and 188 from Kashmir Division.
The Bulletin informs that no new case of Mucormycosis has been reported Wednesday.
On COVID vaccination, the bulletin informs that 53,425 doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across J&K to1,60,05,429.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 334600 positive cases, 1513 are Active Positive (244 in Jammu Division and 1269 in Kashmir Division), 328630 have recovered and 4457 have died; 2181 in Jammu division and 2276in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 16977293 test results available, 334600 samples have tested positive and 16642693 samples have been tested as negative till date. Besides, 54,187 COVID tests have been conducted in last 24 hours.
Till date 4115399 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 5568 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 1513 in isolation and 435619 in home surveillance. Besides, 3668242 persons have completed their surveillance period.
Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases reported Wednesday, the Bulletin said that Srinagar reported 71 cases, Baramulla reported 29 cases, Budgam reported 12 cases, Pulwama reported 04cases, Kupwara reported 07cases, Anantnag reported no cases, Bandipora reported 07 cases, Ganderbal reported 10cases, Kulgam reported 01 case while as Shopian reported no fresh cases for Wednesday.
Similarly, Jammu reported 13cases, Udhampur reported 02 cases, Rajouri reported 02cases, Doda reported 01 case, Kathua reported 01 case, Poonch reported 01 case, Ramban reported 03cases, Reasi reported 04cases while as Samba and Kishtwar reported no fresh cases for Wednesday.
The bulletin further informs the general public that they can contact helpline numbers 0191-2520982/2674444/2674115/2674908/2549676 in Jammu Division and 0194-2440283/2430581/2452052/2457313/2457312 in Kashmir Division for any kind of guidance and assistance.
In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24×7 by calling toll free number 108 while as pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialling toll free number 102, the bulletin reads.
It also informs that the public can reach national helpline by dialling 1075.
