SKJAVS Trust Jammu honors J&K Bank CMD R K Chhibber

Jammu: Kailakh Jyotish Avim Vedic Sansthan Trust Saturday honoured J&K Bank Chairman and Managing Director Rajesh Kumar Chhibber. On the occasion, President of the Trust Mahant Rohit Shastri presented Shri Ramcharitmanas, Shrimad Bhagavad Gita and ‘Nag Devtaoon ki mahima’ Book to R K Chhibber.
Expressing his views, Mahant Rohit Shastri said that under the leadership of Chairman & MD R K Chhibber, J&K Bank is providing quality banking services and it is with his renewed efforts and efficiency that the Bank has embarked on a journey to become one of the best banks of the country and is attaining heights every passing day. For all this he really deserves great appreciation. Vice-President of the Trust Advocate Pawan Khajuria, General Secretary Trust Parbodh Sharma, Secretary Trust Rakesh Gandotra, MD Kalindi Nursing Home Dr vishav Gupta, Uttam Chand Sharma and Amit Ajwat were also present on the occasion.
CMD, J&K Bank thanked the trust members headed by Mahant Rohit Shastri fir the honor conferred on him and said that the trust played an important role in extending social service to the masses and promoting spirituality among the people.
Notably, Rajesh Kumar Chhibber joined the services of the Bank as Probationary Officer in the year 1982 and has led the Bank in different capacities from managing business operations at Branches and Zonal offices to the Corporate Level across the operational geography of the Bank. Bringing a treasure of experience to the chair of CMD that spans over three decades, his areas of expertise include Credit, Finance, IT, Corporate & Retail Banking, Risk management, Trade Finance, Foreign exchange, Business continuity planning and bank assurance. As Vice-President in 2009, he headed the technology department of the bank and made remarkable contributions in the creation of Bank’s technology infrastructure besides instituting the process of providing relevant expertise to the staff.
He also became Chairman J&K Grameen Bank for two years and nine months and brought great laurels to the bank by accomplishing its key strategic goals.
Elevated as Executive President on June 1, 2018, he was the Bank’s Chief Compliance Officer besides heading Business Support Division, Insurance, Government Banking, Lead Bank, CSC, FID, Subsidiary Management, Culture & Sports functions of the bank.
