Police facilitates PCPG meeting in Kulgam

Kulgam: Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meeting was facilitated by Police in the village Redwani Bala area of Kulgam. The meeting was held while following social distancing norms and other Covid protocols.
On the occasion, the meeting was chaired by DC Kulgam Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat and SSP Kulgam Dr. G.V. Sundeep Chakravarthy. Besides, other senior officers of Police & civil administration were also present. The meeting was attended by citizens including members of Auqaf Committees, Numberdars, Chowkidars, Traders Federation/Fruit Associations of Khudwani, Qaimoh, Redwani and its adjacent areas.
During the interaction meeting, participants raised various issues of public importance including counselling of the youth of the areas. The chairing officers listened the grievances patiently and assured them that their genuine grievances will be resolved on priority and every possible help will be provided to the people of the area.
The participants were also requested to co-operate with Police and administration in maintaining law & order in the area and in identifying anti-national elements who always try to disrupt the peaceful environment. The participants in the meeting assured their full co-operation to Police and Administration in tackling social evils and also appreciated the efforts of Police in facilitating community interaction meets where participants express their opinions freely.
