Khyber Milk Premier League 2021: J&K Bank XI retains the title

Srinagar: The Final Match of Khyber Milk Premier League 2021 was played between J&K Bank XI and Kashmir Avengers FC. Ahigh volatge match created sessation among the players to take the lead in the beginning which resulted in scoring a magnificent goal by Kelvin of Kashmir Avenger FC in the 8th mint of the first half. This took every body by surprise. Kashmir Avenger FC virtual diminated the game and succeeded in presenting quality Football which was highly appreciated by the spectators present. The first half ended 1:0 in favour Kashmir Avenger FC.

The 2nd half started with a brisk note and J&K Bank consolidated their position and came back into the game and made certain beautiful moves which harrssed the K.Avenger players and they went on defensive. Taking advantage of this Aakif of J&K Bank made no mistake inconveting a beautiful header thus leveling the score. J&K Bank was hunting for the lead & made certain good moves & dominated the match. In the 60th minute their efforts bore fruits when Aakif Javed of J&K Bank scored the 2nd goal and this was applauded by the spectators. K.Avengers FC went all out to find the net again for equalizing but the defence line of J&K Bank didnot allow them to penetrate. In the dying moment Kelvin of K Avenger FC attemted a terific shirt which was brilliantly saved by the goalkeeper of JK Bank. Thus the match won by J&K Bank by 2:1 goals.

Madam Nuzhat Gul, Div. Sports Officer (K) JKSC was the Chief Guest on the Occasion , and distributed prizes and mementoes to the players and Officials. The Officials of JKFS and JKSC were present on the occasion. JKFA is highly indebited to JKSC for providing facilities and other logistic support for the Tournament. The Tournament was organized by DFA Srinagar in collaboration with JKSC. The Tournament is being telecast live for the first time by Frisk Film Production on ANN News Channel.
