Budgam: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Budgam, Shahbaz Ahmed Mirza Wednesday visited far flung areas of Gogjipathri and its adjacent areas to take on spot assessment of requirements besides assess the status of ongoing works keeping in view impending weather conditions.
The DDC during day long engagements chaired a public darbar at Panchayat Ghar, Gogjipathri where apart from locals many deputations from adjacent areas also remained present.
On the occasion, the Sarpanch from Gojipathri apprised in detail the visiting authorities about various issues/demands particularly related to improvement of road from Lolipora to Gojipathri, simultaneously from Nilnag to Yousmarg besides other routes connecting Gojipathri on priority.
The demands also included improvement in drinking water supply, electricity and related to improvement in LT and HT lines, implementation of FRA in the area, as being nearer to forest area, besides functioning of PHC located at Nilnag in its full capacity.
During the interaction, President Gujjar Bakerwal association raised the issue of release of Tribal Funds; declare Gogjipathri and its adjacent areas as Tribal area keeping in view its topography and inaccessibility during winter conditions.
The DDC while giving a patient hearing assured that all genuine issues/demands have already been taken note of by all concerned departments and simultaneously redressal process of same will commence forthwith as per the nature and status of demands.
Later, the DDC along with concerned officers visited tourist spot Nilnag to take stock of the upliftment work presently going on there. The DDC was assured that all remaining work shall be completed on fast track basis.
The DDC accompanied by SDM Chadoora, CEO, CMO, ACD, ACP, CHO, CAO, Ex. Engineer R&B and PDD Chadoora.
The officers urged people to avail the benefit of “Aapki Zameen Aapki Nigrani” Land Records Information System recently launched by the Lieutenant Governor.
They said users can search and view copies of Scanned data of their land records online on CIS Portalhttp: //landrecords.jk.gov.in/.
Officers informed that the initiative will facilitate easy online access to the Land Records System, thereby reducing manipulation of the Land Records and improving the efficiency of Revenue offices substantially.
The programme aims to modernize management of land records, enhance transparency in the land records maintenance system, thus reducing scope of land/property disputes, and facilitate conclusive titles to immovable properties in the country.
The major components of the programme include computerization and digitization of land records, Survey/resurvey and updation of all survey and settlement records, Integration of property registration with land records and cadastral maps for enhancing authenticity and security of data, bringing utmost transparency in the system, Capacity building, and development of Land Records Information System.
