IEC campaign on ‘Aaapki Zameen Aapki Nigrani’ starting in Ramban district from Nov, 10

Ramban: Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Mussarat Islam Monday urged the people to take part in Information Education and Communication (IEC) campaign starting from November 10, 2021 across the district on recently launched ‘Aaapki Zameen Aapki Nigrani’ a Land Record Information System.
As per the order issued Monday by the DC, Additional District Development Commissioner has been designated as Nodal Officer for the IEC campaign. All SDMs, Tehsildars and Naib Tehsildars of the district were also directed to launch similar campaigns in their respective jurisdictions in coordination with Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Department. The PRIs will be involved in educating the people about the benefits of ‘Aaapki Zameen Aapki Nigrani’ system .
The DC said that this programme aims to modernize management of land records, bring transparency in the land records maintenance system, to reduce scope of land/property disputes, and facilitate conclusive titles to immovable properties in the country besides providing people easy access to authentic land records.
Public users can search and view copies of Scanned data online on CIS Portal- http://landrecords.jk.gov.in/.
The initiative will facilitate easy online access to the Land Records System, thereby reducing manipulation of the Land Records and improving the efficiency of Revenue offices substantially, he added.
DLSA Ramban organizes exhibition on 75 years history of Judicial Admin
Ramban: District Legal Services Authority Ramban, in compliance to directions issued by the NLSA and JK LSA and as per the “PAN India Awareness and outreach campaign activity calendar, Monday organized an Exhibition in association with subordinate courts of the district focusing on 75 years history of Judicial Administration, Process of Justice Delivery, Achievements of Justice Delivery System and Legal Aid System and its functions.
The Exhibition was inaugurated by JMIC Ramban, Arusa Chowdhary Munsiff. The Exhibition was also attended by the Principal District & Sessions Judge, Haq Nawaz Zargar who is also the Chairman DLSA Ramban and other judicial officers and a good number of people.
In the Exhibition old handwritten Judgments of Judicial officers, 75 years history of Judicial Administration, Achievements of Justice delivery system and various other functions were exhibited to sensitize the people about transformation and improvements in the process of Justice Delivery and Legal Aid System.
