Ganderbal:: As part of “Azadi Ka Amrit Mohatsav” campaign, the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Ganderbal under the aegis of J&K Legal Services Authority Monday organized a seminar on Working Procedure of Vidhik Seva Kendra and Fundamental Rights and Duties at District Court Complex, Ganderbal.
The Seminar was held under the guidance of Secretary Legal Services Authority Ganderbal, Tabasum.
The programme was conducted in coordination with CUK, Department of Law, and School of Legal Studies in which many Law students participated.
Secretary, DLSA while addressing the gathering said that Vidik Seva Kendra has been established to facilitate litigants to file cases both at High Court and Subordinate Courts at local level.
The service introduced through Vidhik Seva Kendra would give timely relief to litigants and Lawyers for filing of their cases through e-mode at their respective places without approaching the court physically.
This will also prove an additional mode available to the public at large in strengthening the object of access to Justice. It also facilitates e-Mulakat for prisoners to meet their relatives online.
Meanwhile, Question answer session regarding functioning of Vidhik Seva Kendra was also followed.
Advocate G.R Rather speaking on the occasion highlighted the fundamental rights available to the citizens and mode of enforcement through High Courts and Supreme Court. Besides, he also apprised the gathering about various fundamental duties as ordained in Article 51A of Indian Constitution.
