Srinagar: The Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) of Handicrafts & Handloom Kashmir Monday cleared the promotion of 10 officials of ministerial/ executive and technical cadre of the Department for promotion to the next higher level/ grade.
The DPC was held under the Chairmanship of Director Handicrafts & Handloom Kashmir and the other members of the DPC who participated in the meeting included Director, Handicrafts and Handloom Jammu, Joint Director (H&H) Jammu, Joint Director (H&H) Kashmir, Deputy Director (H&H) Jammu and Deputy Secretary, Industries and Commerce Department, Jammu. The Jammu based officer attended the meeting through virtual mode.
The Director Handicrafts & Handloom Kashmir during the current Financial year 2021-22 had conducted 3 UT level DPCs & 02 Divisional level DPCs whereby total 105 officials of ministerial / executive and technical cadres of the Department were cleared for promotion to the next higher level / grade whose promotions were pending since long. Thus all the issues regarding promotions of employees were resolved by the Director Handicrafts & Handloom Kashmir.
Congratulating the promoted officials, the Director advised them to work with zeal and zest for the betterment of the artisan/ weavers community. The whole exercise was conducted in view of the instructions given by the CS for expeditious disposal of the issues of employees.
