Samba:As part of weekly Block Diwas- a Public Outreach programme of JK Government, District Administration Samba Wednesday organised public Grievances redress Camp here at village Suchani of Vijaypur block.
Deputy Commissioner, Anuradha Gupta, listened to the Grievances of people at this remote village and addressed various issues and demands on the spot.
The Deputy Commissioner also elucidated the functionality of Land Record Information System (Apki Zameen Apki Nigrani). She informed the locals that it is a concrete step towards enforcing transparency and accountability in the Revenue department. “Citizens can now check their Revenue records just with a click, while the digitization of Land records has also improved the efficiency of the department” added DC samba.
During the block Diwas, the public grievances, noted well in advance, were addressed by the district administration in presence of the local public. The DC Samba laid emphasis upon expediting the pending works of roads, erection of Electric Poles, laying of water pipelines besides directed revenue officials to submit action taken report on revenue dept related grievances to her office.
Superintendent of Police, Rajesh Sharma; SDM Vijaypur, Vinay Sharma; Assistant Commissioner Development Sidharath Dhiman; District Informatics Officer Sanjeev Kapoor, besides other district and sectoral officers were also present.
