Ganderbal:The Office of the Development Commissioner (Handicrafts), Handicrafts Service Centre (HSC), Srinagar Wednesday organised an Improved Toolkits distribution camp under Design and Technology Upgradation Scheme in Embroidery Craft at Ganderbal.
The distribution camp was attended by Assistant Director, Central Handicrafts Office Srinagar, Raja Rahil, officials of HSC and various beneficiaries of the district.
As many as 50 Improved Toolkits were distributed among various Embroidery Artisans by Raja Rahil in presence of local PRI and other local representatives.
Further artisans were also sensitised about various schemes of the Development Commissioner (Handicrafts) including Mudra Loan, various marketing events organised by the office and other initiatives being taken by the Office for the upliftment of handicraft artisans particularly in Ganderbal district
