GDC Kunjawani hosts Webinar on “Ensuring Well Being of Students during Pandemic Times”

Jammu: To discuss the challenges and psychological issues faced by the students and faculty amid the covid stress, Government Degree College Kunjwani/ Sainik Colony, Jammu organized a webinar on “Ensuring Well Being of Students during Pandemic Times”
The webinar was organised by the Psychological cum Career Counselling and Placement Cell of the College in collaboration with the Atam Nirbhar committee and under the patronage of the Principal, Prof. Hans Raj.
Dr. Romesh Kumar, Head, Counselling Cell, DSEJ was the guest speaker on the occasion. About 70 participants including students and faculty attended the webinar.
Principal, Prof. Hans Raj welcomed the guest speaker and expressed gratitude towards him for sparing his valuable time. While complementing the efforts of Aatam Nirbhar Bharat and Psychological cum Career Counselling and Placement Cell, the Principal motivated the staff members to organise more sessions of this type for benefit of students. He also called upon students to avail the maximum benefit from the schemes discussed by the resource person.
Dr. Romesh Kumar, in his illuminating lecture, explained in detail about the importance of mental health and well being, especially during covid times. He also highlighted various schemes and initiatives under Manodarpan. The lecture ended with the question and answer session.
The session was moderated by Dr. Rohini Jamwal, Convener, Atam Nirbhar Bharat, while vote of thanks was presented by Dr. Arti Pandoh Gupta, Convener Psychological cum Career Counselling and Placement Cell.
