Athlete Rakshanda receives Jubilant reception at Jammu Airport

Jammu: Rakshanda Mehak and her Coach were accorded jubilant reception at Jammu Airport on their arrival here after winning bronze medal in the World Deaf Judo Championship held at Paris Versailles, France.
Rakshanda was part of Indian team for deaf which clinched bronze medal in the International tournament.
The athlete and the Coach were received at Jammu Airport by Ranjeet Kalra, Sports Administrator, Waseem Raja, OSD to Advisor on behalf of Advisor Farooq Khan, Divisional Sports Officer, Deputy Director Youth Services and Sports, members of Judo Association, family members and sports enthusiasts.
The duo was taken in an open jeep from Jammu Airport via Gujjar Nagar to MA stadium where thousands of young sports persons welcomed them amid thunderous applaud.
Pertinently, Advisor Farooq Khan had asked the administration to ensure all arrangements for a warm welcome of the duo on their success in the world championship.
