Vigilance Awareness Week : ACB organises seminars, interactive progs

Srinagar: The J&K Anti Corruption Bureau is organizing series of events during the Vigilance Awareness Week to spread awareness and promote Vigilance.
Dalip Kumar, SSP ACB Jammu organized an Interactive Session with Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRI) members (BDC and Panches/Sarpanches) of Block Ghagwal in District Samba. The purpose of this program was to inform and educate the common people through their PRI members about their rights/responsibilities as well as existing laws for prevention of corruption. SDM Ghagwal, Tehsildar Ghagwal, BDO Ghagwal and Naib Tehsildar Ghagwal also attended this programme and interacted with the PRI members. They were all encouraged to be part of the efforts of ACB in order to identify the wrong doings/wrong doers in govt. departments who abuse their official position for pecuniary gains. ACB officers also explained to them the various provisions of Prevention of Corruption Act as also the procedure required to be followed for lodging of corruption related complaints.
Varinder Manhas, SSP ACB Doda organized vigilance awareness programme / workshop. The programme was attended by the Principal Swaran Singh Jaral, Sh. Snok Chand Naib Tehsildar, Sh. Surinder Thakur Forester Batote, teachers and other staff. ACB team sensitized the officers/officials present there, about Corruption and how to curb Corruption and unethical practices. ACB team also distributed the pamphlets among the participants.
Joginder Singh SSP ACB Rajouri held a seminar in the premises of District Police Lines Poonch in association with officers/officials of other departments of District Poonch. During the seminar, lectures were delivered by Inspr Raj Kumar Koul, Inspr Shrikant Parihar and Inspr Naresh Chander of ACB among the masses on prevention of corruption. During the course of seminar, the team of ACB also interacted with the participants & general public gathered and also briefed them for lodging the complaints against such activities whenever they observe. They have also been assured that their grievances will be addressed upto the mark of their satisfaction. At the end, all the participants were encouraged and advised to come forward and join in the fight against corruption.
S. Balasubramony, SSP ACB Central organised a workshop at the Conference Hall of DC Office samba to commemorate the Vigilance Awareness Week 2021. Sh. S. Balasubramony, SP Abhisheik Sharma, DySP Ashok Sharma, Insp. Mohd. Sadeeq gave a brief introduction and lecture on the corrupt practices adopted by the Government Officials and also give a presentation on the topic of corruption and awares the participants about the impact of the corruption and also advices them to not to be the part of the corrupt system.
