Ganderbal: As part of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations’, the District Legal Services Authority Ganderbal Friday organised a legal awareness programme on Domestic Violence Act at Conference Hall of District Court Complex, here.
During the programme, District Programme officer, ICDS Ganderbal, District Child Protection officer Ganderbal and Advocate Sabrina Fayaz spoke on the occasion and highlighted issues related to Domestic violence, role of protection officer, protection orders, residence orders, monetary relief, etc. under the Domestic Violence Act, 2005.
Awareness programme was attended by Secretary DLSA Ganderbal, District Child Protection officer Ganderbal, Programme officer, ICDS Ganderbal, Teachers, Aganwadi Workers and Asha Workers of District Ganderbal.
