Srinagar: In order to review the security grid of PD Awantipora, a security review meeting was chaired by SSP Awantipora Mohammad Yousuf at DPL Awantipora. The meeting was attended by all the SDPOs/SHOs/DOs of PD Awantipora.
During the meeting, different security measures were discussed to ensure peace and stability in the Police district. Besides, the progress of Police Stations on tracing of missing persons, absconders, solving of theft and burglary cases were also discussed threadbare.
SSP Awantipora directed officers that crime against women and minors needs to be addressed on priority basis. He urged upon the officers to strengthen the general security grid of their respective areas for ensuring peace and stability in their respective areas. He also directed to enhance the methods of detecting false propaganda on social media so as to curb the new pattern of radicalization. Besides, he also directed to ensure stringent action against those involved in anti-social elements.
Officers were briefed to work with zeal & dedication to curb the menace of narcotics and other crimes besides, take special care about security of protected persons, vital installations & religious places. He also instructed officers to work for maintenance of brotherhood and peace in the area.
