Jammu: Jammu Police on Tuesday organised an event “Run For Unity” at Bahu plaza, Jammu to give salutation to Police martyrs who have sacrificed their precious lives for the motherland. Around 250 enthusiasts participated in the event in different age categories.
The rally started from Bahu Plaza, Jammu and was flagged off by Sh. MukeSingh IPS, ADGP Jammu Zone. The rally was held in four different age categories, i.e., 1. Females 2. Below 20 yrs. 3. Age between 20-50 yrs and 4. Above 50 yrs. Jammu Police organised the event in collaboration with Banyan International School in which Vicky Mahajan M.D Banyan International School and Principal Sh. RajeKumar played a key role. Sanyog Katoch also helped in organising the event. The students of Banyan International School performed cultural items before starting the rally thus adding enthusiasm among the participants.
The rally started from Central Park, Bahu Plaza and was flagged off by Sh. MukeSingh (IPS) ADGP Jammu Zone in presence of Sh. Chandan Kohli IPS, SSP Jammu and Dr. Koushal Sharma JKPS, SSP Traffic Jammu. Other dignitaries present on the occasion were Sh. RamniGupta JKPS, SP Hqrs. Jammu, Sh. Deepak Digra JKPS, SP South Jammu, Sh. Sajad Sarwar JKPS, SDPO City East Jammu and Sh. Deepak Pathania SHO

Around 150 medals were distributed among the participants of all the categories and special prizes were awarded to the first 03 winners in each category. The names of first 03 winners in each category as follows :-
