DDC Poonch reviews land acquisition cases of Army

Poonch: District Development Commissioner Poonch, Inder Jeet Monday chaired a joint meeting of Revenue and Army to discuss the land acquisition,/Requisition/De-Requisition/Misc issues pertaining to defence land, here at conference hall of DC office Complex.
The meeting was attended by the Station Headquarter 93 Infantry Brigade C/o56 APO, Station Headquarter 10 Infantry Brigade c/o 56 APO, Station Headquarter 120 Infantry Brigade C/o 56 APO, All Tehsildars, Head Quarter Assistant, Deputy Custodian Evacuee property Poonch besides other concerned officers.
During the meeting, threadbare discussion was held on various issues related to the release of rental compensation, and other relevant issues related to defence land hiring were discussed in detail.
The DC instructed the Revenue department to provide all the document related requirements of the Army within 10 days and resolve all land related issues such as Joint verification, demarcation etc. in a time bound manner so that genuine land owners get the compensation in time. He also set a timeline for land demarcation and providing of revenue documents for each case.
