Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav: Cleanliness drive held across Ramban distt

Ramban: The Department of Youth Services and Sports Ramban Monday conducted a cleanliness drive at Educational Zone Gool as part of the “Clean India”, a month long cleanliness and sanitation drive, launched by the Government under the aegis of ‘Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav’.
The officers and officials and local youth conducted the cleanliness operation across the town. Besides, several other departments also conducted cleanliness drives in their respective offices as well as outdoors to promote Swachhta Hi Sewa slogan.
The participants collected a large quantity of single-use plastic bags & other waste materials during the drive. They also sensitized the shopkeepers and vendors about the harmful effects of single-use plastic & encouraged them to avoid its use. The designated sanitation teams showed their full dedication towards the assignment.
