Srinagar: In order to express solidarity and perceive the well-being of the families of the Police Martyrs, Kupwara Police on Saturday visited families of various martyrs who had laid down their lives in the line of duty.
SSP Kupwara Yougal Manhas-JKPS accompanied by ASP Kupwara, DySP DAR Kupwara, DySP Hqrs Kupwara, SHOs and ICPP’s visited the families of various martyrs across the district.
SSP Kupwara visited the family of police martyr Mohammad Yousuf Bajad at Marhama Trehgam who attained martyrdom in February this year in Baghat Srinagar.
During interaction with martyrs’ families, the visiting Police Officers listened their grievances patiently and assured them that their genuine problems will be taken up at appropriate level for timely redressal. Visiting officers emphasised on them to consider police department as a family and share their problems especially in case of exigencies. While expressing their gratitude, the officers added that J&K police will always remain indebted to these martyrs who helped a great deal in creating the atmosphere of peace & tranquillity in J&K.
Next of kin of the martyrs’ expressed satisfaction and hoped to further strengthen this bond.
