Jammu: Police on Friday said that it has rescued a minor girl at Jhajjar Kotli in Jammu district.
In a statement issued on Friday police said that a written complaint was on 20th October lodged at PS Jhajjar Kotli from father of a kidnapped minor girl where in it was stated that his daughter had gone missing since 18th October, police in it’s statement said “a case FIR no. 169/2021 u/s 363 IPC was registered at Police station Jhajjar Kotli and investigation was started”.
Stating that special teams of P/S Jhajjar Kotli under the supervision of SDPO Nagrota Parupkar Singh were constituted and the team led by SHO P/S Jhajjar Kotli Inspr. Devinder Singh connected the various leads and after hectic efforts and with the support of technical assistance finally the kidnapped minor girl was recovered from accused, police in the concluding para of the above quoted statement said that the girl was finally handed over to her family after completing all the legal formalities.
