DLSA organises legal awareness prog at B’pora

B’pora: The District Legal Services Authority Bandipora on Thursday organised a day-long awareness programme with regard to welfare schemes in collaboration with District Administration Bandipora.
Secretary DLSA, Fariqa Nazir inaugurated the programme aimed at creating awareness regarding various welfare schemes.
She said the objective of the said programme was to create awareness among the people regarding Welfare schemes of UT and Central Government.
Officers of different departments including CMO Office Bandipora, Chief Education Office Bandipora, Sheep and Animal Husbandry office Bandipora, Labour Office Bandipora, National Rural livelihood Mission Bandipora, Mahila Shakti Kendra Office Bandipora and One Stop Center participated and also raised awareness about various schemes in place for the welfare of the people.
They also highlighted the benefits by the respective departments under different schemes.
A huge public gathering including Sarpanches, Panches, Namberdars, Anganwadi workers, Asha workers, PRI and others attended the legal Aid Camp cum awareness programme.
