Srinagar: The artists from Cultural Unit Kashmir of Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) Friday presented mesmerising performance in Jashn-e-Zaffran festival organised by the Directorate of Agriculture Kashmir, at India International Kashmir Saffron Trading Centre (IIKSTC) Pampore.
Jashn-e-Zaffran is a Saffron festival cum Buyers and Sellers meet held at IIKSTC Dussu, Pampore.
On the occasion, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha addressed the festival through video conferencing, while the Union Minister of State for Agriculture also spoke at the event through video conferencing.
Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Farooq Khan was the chief guest. A large gathering of the buyers, sellers and officers of the different departments were also present at the festival.
At the festival, a special culture program comprising Saziyana, Rouf and Chakri was performed by the famous artists of the Cultural Unit Kashmir including Mushtaq Saznawaaz, Gh Mohammed Bhat, Gh Mohideen Khanday. The performance by the renowned artists enthralled the audiences.
