Bandipora: Police on Friday said that it has arrested three persons and also seized three vehicles involved in illegal extraction and transportation of minerals.
In a statement issued here on Friday police said that officers from PS Kakapora in presence of District Magistrate Officer Pulwama, during Naka checking at Kandizal Kakapora area seized two tippers and one dumper bearing registration numbers JK13E-1679, JK13E-2147 & JK13E-0301 and arrested three persons involved in extraction and transportation of sand and Bajri identified as Shafiq Ahmad Rather resident of Nehama, Mohd Shahid Bhat resident of Lelhar and Ab Majeed Panjo resident of Kakapora.
In the concluded para of it’s above referred statement police said that case vide FIR No. 138/2021 under relevant sections of law stands registered at Police Station Kakapora and further investigation initiated.
