G’bal Celebrates achievement of 100 crore vaccinations across India

Ganderbal: District Administration Ganderbal Thursday celebrated the vaccination success of achieving the milestone of 100 crore vaccination across India and also for achieving 100% first dose Covid-19 vaccination in the age group above 18 years in the district.
Several activities were carried out in the district to mark the celebration of achieving the milestone like illumination of District Hospital, NTPHC Wussan and other health institutions, installation of hoardings and distribution of award certificates of appreciation to healthcare workers for their exceptional efforts.
Pertinently, the Government of India had desired that this day be observed as a milestone in the fight against Covid-19 pandemic throughout the country.
CMO Ganderbal while speaking on the occasion lauded the role of the ground level workers of all departments who worked tirelessly in shoulder to shoulder with the health department to ensure that each and every eligible individual got vaccinated in the district. CMO also complimented the Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Krittika Jyotsna who personally monitored the activities of Covid-19 vaccination in the district.
